Chi Epsilon
Awards
There currently exist three awards by Chi Epsilon that are given to students or faculty due to various qualifications and merits.

Wood Award
Given to encourage membership in the student chapter of Chi Epsilon and the funding of scholarships and fellowships for students actively engaged in Chi Epsilon activities. Selection process is guided by the Chi Epsilon faculty advisor.

Rosemary Burke Award
Given to a student member of Chi Epsilon who holds the highest cumulative grade point average among civil engineering students in the seventh semester of their program. Selection process is guided by the Chi Epsilon faculty advisor.

Edmund Burke Award
Presented annually to a professor in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering for contributions to the students and School, as recognized by the students of Chi Epsilon, through the interest and generosity of Christopher B. Burke, Ph.D. 1983, in the honor of his father Edmund M. Burke, a distinguished and highly respected civil engineer.
